In order to serve our purposes we built Wurii OS from the ground up and on bare metal to be the most versatile
and robust operating system for use cases ranging from financial transactions to secure printing and the like.
All of our AIoT devices present and future come pre loaded with Wurii OS and benefit from Over The Air updates.
The Story Behind Wuri’inchilla
In the rhythm of Ethiopia’s everyday life, one animal quietly carries the weight of progress — the donkey. It is steady,humble, and indispensable, a true backbone of work and perseverance. Yet, despite its strength and service, it rarely
receives the appreciation it deserves. At ADC, we saw in the donkey a reflection of our own journey — resilient, reliable,
and determined to move forward no matter the terrain. As a growing company, we aspire to embody those same
values: steadfast, grounded, and built to endure. That’s why we chose the baby donkey as our mascot — a symbol
of potential and purpose. In Amharic, a baby donkey is called “Wurinchila” (spelled Wuri’inchilla), and it perfectly
represents who we are today: ambitious, evolving, and ready to grow into our full strength. Just as the young donkey
grows to shoulder great journeys, Wuri’inchilla represents our path — from aspiration to achievement, from promise
to power. It’s more than a name; it’s a tribute to the spirit of progress that keeps Ethiopia moving forward.
